The Bannister family's new addition Zeus the yellow Labrador appears to be less than the dependable guard dog the family needs. However when two burglars set out to break into the Bannister's home while they're away for Christmas Zeus seizes the chance to be a hero proving every dog - even this one - has his day.

A former K9 police dog has his day when he saves his adoptive family from a pair of holiday burglars. Christmas is coming, and the Bannister family isn't convinced that their new, laid back dog Zeus (voice of Mario Lopez) will be able to defend their home like they thought he would. When the family goes away for Christmas Eve and Zeus fends off two burglars who were looking to rob the Bannisters Blind, the once-sceptical family has a sudden change of heart.
Seasonal family comedy. Ex-police dog Zeus (voiced by Mario López), having failed spectacularly at his former vocation, is adopted by the Bannister family as an early Christmas present and a guard dog for the family home. When the house is broken into while the family are away for Christmas, it is up to the wayward Zeus to save the day.
