Romantic drama starring James Fox, Brenda Fricker and Natalie Dormer. Retired couple Joseph (Fox) and Brenda (Fricker) move to southern France to live out the rest of their days. Joseph finds himself in a state of boredom, however, until he meets the young and attractive Suzanne (Dormer), who is holidaying with her boyfriend Mark (Paul Nicholls). Enchanted by Suzanne and the change in his monotonous daily routine that she brings, Joseph is revitalised by her presence. At the same time Suzanne questions whether she belongs with Mark. What does the future hold for both couples?
