The small coastal town of East Lee, in Suffolk, is thrown into turmoil when Lorraine, a teenage girl, goes missing and is found murdered. Hermione Norris and Martin Clunes star in this two-part drama series in which a mother questions whether her son could be capable of murder. After a teenage girl is found dead in the small town of East Lee, Rosie (Norris) discovers a blood-like stain on son Jamie (Alexander Arnold)'s trainers. She is horrified at the possibility that her son could be involved in the murder but decides to investigate further. In time she confesses her suspicions to Jamie's dad, David (Paul McGann), and her husband, Ben (Clunes), and when they find more evidence against him, it looks unlikely that Jamie could be innocent...
