Woody Allen writes and directs this romantic comedy starring Elle Fanning and Timothee Chalamet. When Liberal Arts student and aspiring film journalist Ashleigh Enright (Fanning) manages to secure an interview with renowned director Roland Pollard (Liev Schreiber) she makes the trip to Manhattan along with her boyfriend, fellow student and New Yorker, Gatsby Wells (Chalamet). They plan to spend the day together once Ashleigh's interview with Roland has ended, however, when the opportunity to see footage from his latest film arises Ashleigh cannot say no. Meanwhile,... Gatsby is left to wander around on his own where he bumps into an old friend who is shooting a film featuring another old friend, Shannon (Selena Gomez).
