Remake of the 1966 film, which starred Michael Caine as the eponymous antihero. Jude Law is in the title role this time round, in an update transposed to contemporary New York. Alfie is handsome, vain, and charming, and uses his wiles to bed a series of the city''s most beautiful and desirable women. His womanising leads him into trouble, however, when two of his conquests become simultaneously pregnant by him. Susan Sarandon, Marisa Tomei and Jude Law's real-life girlfriend Sienna Miller co-star.
