After eyewitnesses to his disappearance claim to have seen a flash of blue light carry him away, his best friend Seth Hampton (Skipper) has spent the last two years trying to find out what happened to him. After the town experiences a series of brutal murders, Seth believes his friend has finally come home, but the Mark that left is not the Mark that has returned.
