Russell Friedenberg co-directs, writes and stars in this American comedy drama about a family who reunite on the Fourth of July. Married couple Wendy and Ellis Conifer (Amy Smart and Joshua Leonard) invite their extended family to join them for the holiday weekend, including Wendy's daughter Joey (Johnny Sequoyah) and Joey's father Saul (Russell Friedenberg), his wife Emma (Victoria Smurfit) and the somewhat unwelcome guest Chad Whitlock (Will McCormack). As the family and friends' relationships begin to unravel, ten-year-old Joey strikes up a friendship with photographer Chad as they escape the house to explore the scenic wonders of Idaho together.
