All six episodes of the TV adaptation of the long-running Daily Mirror comic strip created by Reg Smythe. Andy Capp (James Bolam) is an unemployed middle-aged man content to spend his time drinking, gambling and sitting in his armchair - often all at once - leaving his much-abused wife, Flo (Paula Tilbrook), to earn the money to keep him in comfort. Other characters from the comic strip to make an appearance include Andy's landlord, Jack (John Arthur), and the rent collector, Percy (Keith Marsh).
