Annabel Karmel presents this kids cookery show, aided by Jimmy and Pearl the penguins.
Children's cooking show presented by author and nutritionist Annabel Karmel. Joining Annabel in her kitchen are Jimmy (Brian Herring) and Pearl (Rebecca Nagan), a pair of penguins who, though hailing from the South Pole, are very much poles apart. Pearl is Annabel's trusted lieutenant, well-organised at all times and in charge of important tasks like ordering ingredients, selecting recipes and maintaining the show's website. Jimmy, on the other hand, is full of enthusiasm for cooking but prone to an error or two. He is particularly easily distracted when fish are around and makes himself at home in Annabel's fridge. The show aims to provide children with an entertaining and educational introduction to food, nutrition and the pleasure of cooking.
