A love triangle will seem like the simplest of shapes--and situations--after watching this Israeli import from writerdirector Yair Hochner In ANTARCTICA the love lives of sexy Tel Aviv residents combine and collide in seemingly infinite combinations Ronen likes Omer who in turn likes Danny and things only get more complicated from there especially when you throw Omer's sister Shirley--a newly declared lesbian--into the mix along with her bosslover

Director Yair Hochner's upbeat ensemble comedy focusing on the lives and loves of Tel Aviv's gay community. Gay librarian Omer (Tomer Ilan) is nearing 30 and has still to explore his sexuality, choosing instead to bury his head in books. Meanwhile, his heterosexual sister, Shirley (Lucy Dubinchik), isn't ready to settle down with her boyfriend boss and still clings to her dream of moving to Antarctica. Now, just when Omer has all but given up hope of meeting his dream man, local journalist Ronen (Guy Zoaretz) enters his life, opening up a whole new world of opportunities.
