Crime drama starring Scott Speedman as the bank robber and gang leader Edwin Boyd. Having returned from serving in the Second World War, Boyd becomes determined to make a better life for himself and his family. With work hard to come by, he decides to take matters into his own hands and robs a bank. After a stint in prison, Boyd manages to escape, along with some fellow robbers, and together they form the Boyd Gang. However, Boyd's criminal activity puts his relationship with his wife Doreen (Kelly Reilly) under strain and it is only a matter of time before the law catches up with him and his gang members.
