'Ass Backwards' is an irreverent female buddy comedy about two childhood best friends who are pushing the age of 30 and not quite where they thought they'd be in life. When they run into their former beauty pageant nemesis, they decide to go on a road trip back home to recapture the pageant crown which eluded them as children. On the road, they face some hard truths about themselves and each other as they encounter spring breakers, strip clubs, a women's militant group and their favorite real.

Road trip comedy written by and starring June Diane Raphael and Casey Wilson. Kate (Raphael) and Chloe (Wilson) have been best friends since they both came last in their hometown beauty pageant when they were children. Now, they share an apartment in New York City where Chloe works as a dancer in a seedy nightclub and Kate supports herself through selling her eggs to a fertility clinic. When they receive an invitation in the post asking them to attend a special 50th anniversary pageant, they see an opportunity for a second chance at turning their lives around and trumping the competition.
