British drama looking at the impact of divorce based on the stage play by Warren Chetham-Strode and directed by Daniel Birt. After 20 years of marriage, John and Barbie Lomax (Philip Friend and Valerie Hobson) find themselves unable to maintain their relationship. John is preoccupied with becoming a barrister which takes up most of his time, leaving little for Barbie and their three children. When they amicably decide to separate for the benefit of their children John and Barbie are dismayed at how affected they are by the news. The kids concoct their own theories, targeting 'Uncle' Bill Ogden (Norman Wooland) as the cause of the separation, and begin to take matters into their own hands.
