G Wing's Governor Grayling (James Gaddas) is killed off by Legionnaire's Disease in the first episode to be replaced by the svelte, stylish Lou Stoke (Amanda Donohoe). Natalie (Dannielle Brent) and Pat (Liz May Brice)'s enmity steps up another notch and ends in tragedy. The wife of a suspected terrorist is transferred to the ward - just one of several new characters introduced - along with her personal warden who is working with police as an informer. The ward's new doctor, Rowan (Colin Salmon), a handsome young thing, is quickly laid claim to by a lusty Lou. The usual blend of romance, drug smuggling, high drama and comedic interlude continues apace...
