All three seasons of the fairytale adaptation created by Ron Koslow. This 1980s retelling stars Linda Hamilton as a shallow career girl whose life is transformed by her meeting with a mysterious creature. Catherine Chandler (Hamilton) is living her dream as an NYC District Attorney when she has a near death experience, and finds herself in a parallel world. There she learns she was saved from a violent attack by Vincent (Ron Perlman), half-man, half-beast... After suffering a brutal assault, an attractive NYC attorney gains consciousness to find herself among a group of people living underground in a world of labyrinth tunnels, mystical waterfalls, and people who have come together to form a loving and nurturing family. She meets Vincent, the intelligent man beast who saved her but within this adaptation from the original tale, Vincent's inner beauty is allowed to remain the focus of who he is and it is Catherine's former shallow self that is the ugliness transformed by their love.
