Festive children's feature in which Beethoven the dog is charged with saving Christmas. The magical day is rapidly approaching but millions of children face disappointment after an accident involving a Christmas elf and Santa's sleigh. The elf inadvertently took off in the sleigh and, unable to control it, crashed into a small town. Luckily for the elf, who is even more distraught at having lost the magical present bag, a resident of the town, Beethoven (voice of Tom Arnold), shares his sense of the importance of Christmas and knows the lay of the land. The pair set out on an adventure to recover the missing bag and salvage the joy of Christmas. The film features narration from John Cleese.
