This Bollywood drama is a remake of the critically acclaimed psycho-thriller 'Manichitrathazhu'. Siddharth (Shiny Ahuja) and Avni (Vidya Balan) return to their native village from America to visit their ancestral palace, believed to be haunted by a ghost of Manjulika. The palace does indeed hold many secrets, so when Avni unlocks a forbidden room events take an unnatural turn.
