I'm not black I'm not white not foreign... just different in the mind - different brains that's all... Jennifer Venditti's debut film is a provocative coming-of-age story an odyssey into the soul of an American teenager. Following Billy as he bicycles through the quiet streets of small town Maine we watch him traverse grappling with isolation and first-time young love. By turns exhilarating and disturbing we see the world from the intimate view of an expressive and seemingly fearless leader.

Director Jennifer Venditti's intimate, slice-of-life portrait of 15-year-old misfit Billy, as he tries to chart his own course in small town Maine, USA. After suffering a disturbed childhood, outsider Billy is given a wide berth by his classmates and viewed as having learning difficulties by his teachers. Despite this, Billy refuses to let his own unique individuality be compromised, and continues to go his way, fighting convention and challenging the community to accept him for what he is, not what they think he should be.
