Daniel Zirilli directs this modern adaptation of the classic story about friendship, loyalty and kindness. When 15-year-old Audry (Jennifer McKenzie) volunteers to work at the local shelter, she is surprised to see that they have a resident horse. After finding out that the horse has been abused and neglected all her life, she convinces her grandfather (Bruce Davison) to adopt her in the hope of giving her a second chance at happiness.
