The Tangerine hoardes went home delirious after witnessing a terrific performance earning a deserved three points and ensuring they did the double over Liverpool after winning 2-1 at Anfield earlier in the season for the first time in 64 years. King Kenny's return to the hot seat was supposed to be the spark that reignited... the Merseysiders season and it certainly looked that way when Fernando Torres pounced inside three minutes. But lifelong Liverpool fan Gary Taylor-Fletcher and DJ Campbell scored the goals for the Seasiders that ensured Dalglish's start was a miserable start. 28 points already; the Tangerines are looking up not down!
