All 13 episodes of the Japanese anime series following the adventures of superhuman 18th-century samurai warrior Manji (voice of Tomokazu Seki). Having had immortality bestowed upon him by an ancient nun, Manji is spurred on by the death of his sister to end his agelessness by taking on a quest to kill no fewer than 1000 evil men. Until he completes his task, Manji will be kept alive by 'sacred bloodworms', creatures that have the power to re-attach limbs even though they may have been separated hours before.
