Life-affirming drama starring James Nesbitt. Peter (Nesbitt) is a former workaholic city trader who begins a reclusive new life as a lighthouse keeper on a small Scottish island following the death of his wife (Natascha McElhone) and two daughters. His only point of contact with the outside world is Howie (Gary Lewis), who delivers his supplies every few months. Peter's mute, withdrawn existence is shaken to the core when he finds a little girl, Charlotte (Lilian Woods), washed up in a lifeboat on the beach after a storm.
