Blood Sweat and Tears were formed in 1967 by Al Kooper. Their fusion of jazz and rock captured the imagination of critics and the first album 'Child is Father to the Man' became a hit. Kooper had the status of band-leader but other members wanted a committed lead singer and Kooper was replaced by David Clayton-Thomas.The band released three more albums and enjoyed massive chart success. However the pressures involved with sales of 6 million albums led to the band splitting in 1978. In 1980 David Clayton-Thomas reformed the group. The DVD features footage of the reformed...
