Thriller directed, produced by and starring Clint Eastwood. FBI detective Terry McCaleb (Eastwood) has retired from police work after a massive heart attack led to him having a heart transplant operation. Resigned to quietly living out the rest of his days aboard his houseboat, he is persuaded to take on one last case by the sister of the murdered girl whose heart he has been given. The case soon escalates into a serial killer investiagtion - which may prove too much for the substantially weakened McCaleb, who has been advised by his cardiologist (Anjelica Huston) not to drive a car - let alone undertake the stress and arduous legwork required to track down a dangerous murderer.
