After winning a holiday for two to an idyllic resort in her company raffle, single factory worker Marina (Cecilia Suarez) realises she has to do something to change her solitary life. When she chances upon old schoolfriend Victor (Enrique Arreola), she decides that any company is better than none at all, and casting aside her usual caution, invites him to join her on the trip. But although the two seem ideally matched, they soon discover that it takes more than simply a beautiful setting for love to blossom.
