After the traumatic events of January 2013 and the brutal attack on the ballet company's director, BOLSHOI BABYLON follows the dancers and managers through a new season as they try to repair the damage, and regain their status as the world's leading dance company.

Documentary charting the revival and recovery of the Bolshoi Theatre after an attack on company director Sergei Filin in January 2013. In an exceptional turn of events, the Bolshoi Theatre grants the film crew unrestricted access backstage for the first time ever. Following on from the turbulent events, the management and dancers work to rebuild the reputation of the world famous ballet troupe. The documentary includes interviews with notable dancers Maria Alexandrova and Maria Allash and company director Anatoliy Iksanov.
