All six episodes from the first season of the Canadian wartime drama created by Michael MacLennan and Adrienne Mitchell. With the men off fighting in Europe, it's up to the women to go to work in the munitions factories making bombs to help in the war effort. The series follows Gladys (Jodi Balfour), Kate (Charlotte Hegele), Betty (Ali Liebert) and Lorna (Meg Tilly) as they come up against a variety of different challenges while embracing their newfound freedom from traditional cultural stereotypes. The episodes are: 'Jumping Tracks', 'Misfires', 'How You Trust', 'Bringing Up Bombshell', 'Armistice' and 'Elements of Surprise'.
