Austrian drama about a youth offender facing life after his release from a juvenile detention centre. Roman (Thomas Schubert) is a teenager living in a youth detention centre in Vienna. When his latest parole hearing comes up, his parole officer Walter (Gerhard Liebmann) encourages him to take a job through the day-release programme, but finds it odd when Roman chooses a job at the city morgue - especially since Roman was locked up on a murder charge. But as time goes by Walter realises that this job may be just what Roman needs to bury his demons and face up to his future.
