Documentary following the experiences of two brothers serving for the US military in Iraq and the subsequent effect on their family. Director Jake Rademacher embeds with combat units in the Iraq war between 2004 and 2006 to tell the story of his brothers, Captain Isaac Rademacher and Sergeant Joseph Rademacher, in active duty in the war. With unprecedented access to US operations, Rademacher follows secret reconnaissance troops to the Syrian border and films fierce firefights with the Iraqi army. The documentary also follows the brothers at home, detailing the impact and stress their military service exerts on their personal lives and loved ones.
