John Surtees achieved fame by becoming a world champion in both Formula 1 and motorcycling. As a motorbike rider Surtees was a phenomenal success, taking seven world titles in just ten seasons. He then progressed to Formula 1, where he raced for the Ferrari team and won the World Championship in 1964, before he retired to dedicate himself to his collection of classic motorbikes.
