Homer the golden retriever senses another dog in the Fastener ancestral lake house and much to his surprise finds Sophie the famous Chihuahua Dog Star from the silent movie era! He soon realises that only he can see her. Now it is up to him to make the family realise that Sophie's ghost is there wanting their love. Will Sophie become part of the family or will she be alone forever?

Children's feature about a dog who is looking for a family's love. A couple and their young son and daughter go to stay in a lake house they have just inheritied as the only remaining descendants of the Fastener family. Soon their golden retriever Homer makes friends with the ghost of chihuahua Sophie, a famous silent movie star who once lived in the house. The little dog is lonely but will she be able to find the love and affection she is hoping for?
