When slacker Kevin Manley receives a letter from his long lost grandfather telling him that he has inherited land in Alaska it seems to be the answer to his prayers for excitement and adventure. But there's a catch: in order to claim the land Kevin must first compete in the world's toughest dog sled race across the frozen tundra of Alaska.
