In the summer of 2000 with a sell out tour and a remix of 'On The Beach' in the charts Chris Rea was told he was suffering from an illness that would end his career and possibly his life. Whilst lying in hospital he realised that he had not made his final album and wanted a project that he could be judged on. 'Dancing Down The Stony Road' is the album and this DVD documents the journey Rea took in making that album.
