When Wildcat Gallagher's Wild West Show hits Cimarron trouble starts when the show's main attraction features the re-enactment of a cavalry slaughter of Indians called The Battle of Bloody Stones. When the local Indians in the Cimarron territory become angry with the way that the battle is portrayed conflict erupts between the Indians and Wildcat Gallagher's men. The unprovoked death of John Wolf son of Indian Chief Ghost Wolf threatens war in Cimarron and Marshal Crown is ultimately faced with the job of preventing another potential massacre.

Episode six of the 1960s American western series, following the adventures of Marshal Jim Crown (Stuart Whitman). Trouble erupts in Cimarron after Wildcat Gallagher's Wild West Show arrives in town and puts on a re-enactment of The Battle of Bloody Stones, which depicts Indians being massacred by cavalry. The show upsets the local Indian population and when the son of the Indian Chief Ghost Wolf (Henry Wilcoxon) is killed, Marshal Crown must intervene before more people get hurt.
When a travelling show comes to Cimarron and re-enacts a famous Indian battle the neighbouring tribe takes offense and a fight ensues. The chief's son is killed in the melee and Marshall Crown has to try and avoid an all-out Indian war.
