A centenary celebration of the great English pianist, produced in association with the Curzon family. Includes Schumann's Kinderszenen, Brahms' Capriccio in D minor, op.116 no.1 (both from a BBC studio recital filmed in black and white); Schubert's Moment musical in F minor D780 no.3, Impromptu in A flat major D899 no.4, Piano Sonata in B flat major D960 (all from a 1968 BBC studio recital, filmed in colour). Also includes a bonus CD containing interviews with Curzon, plus an appearance on Desert Island Discs from May 1978.
