Twisted worlds and eccentric characters, it must be Henry Selick! After directing Tim Burton's animation masterpieces, 'A Nightmare Before Christmas' and 'James and The Giant Peac'', Selick is now bringing to life Neil Gaiman's mystical children's book, Coraline. Blue haired and feisty Coraline is unhappy with her life; she is an only child, feels ignored by her parents and has just moved into a ramshackle boarding home with Miss Forcible and Miss Spink, two over the hill actresses and a Russian acrobat named Mr Bobinsky. Coraline wishes her life was different, but... you should be careful what you wish for because it may come true! One day Coraline stumbles across a hidden door, which leads her to an alternative version of her house. Everything seems to be the complete opposite to her life, especially her alternative parents who are caring and attentive. But things aren't always what they seem and it's not long before Coraline's new life, takes a nightmarish turn for the worse. Can Coraline escape this dangerous and mysterious world that doesn't seem to want to let go? You'll have to watch it and find out! Based on Neil Gaiman's international best-selling book and helmed by "The Nightmare Before Christmas" director Henry Selick, "Coraline" invites you to open the door to the furthest reaches of your imagination!
