Sean O' Cualain directs this documentary about the life and career of Irish racing driver Tommy Byrne. The film charts Byrne's career from his early days driving a Mini Cooper in stock car racing to briefly competing with the world's best in Formula One in the early 1980s. A charismatic and aggressive driver, Byrne made no attempt to fit in with the Formula One hierarchy as his wild lifestyle soon began to take a toll on his career. Featuring archive footage and extensive interviews with Byrne himself, the film also includes contributions from motor racing personalities such as Eddie Jordan and Martin Brundle.
