Mick 'Crocodile' Dundee (Paul Hogan) is an Australian bushman assigned to take care of a beautiful New York journalist (Linda Kozlowski) on assignment in the Outback. Attraction quickly flares between them and when Mick saves the young woman from the jaws of a marauding croc, she asks him back to the States where he is an instant hit with jaded New York society. Mick soon learns that bush tactics also work in the urban jungle.
