Forsdyke is a pathological petty thief who realises he needs help and wants to change his ways so he checks himself in to a crooks anonymous organisation where he will be taught how to control his urge to steal. Everything seems to be going well and Forsdyke’s girlfriend has told him that if he successfully changes his ways then she will marry him. But Forsdyke’s road to recovery is put to a huge test when he gets locked in a department store over Christmas.
