Comic French drama directed by Philippe Le Guay and starring Fabrice Luchini and Lambert Wilson. World-weary actor Serge Tanneur (Luchini) has turned his back on the stage and retired to an island off the west coast of France where he plans on leading a quiet and undisturbed life. However, his tranquil existence is soon shattered when TV actor Gauthier Valence (Wilson) shows up offering Serge a role in an upcoming production of Molière's classic text 'The Misanthrope'.
