Family canine comedy starring Gary Busey as Archie, a wealthy but belligerent businessman who, after being killed in a car accident, is given the opportunity of returning as a dog. Seeing this as a chance of redeeming himself, with the help of his mindful new owner and guardian, Sweeney (Oz Perkins), Archie, now known as Quigley, seeks to help those he wronged in the past such as his estranged brother, Woodward (Christopher Atkins). Due to his new beneficent nature as a dog, Archie begins to fully understand and appreciate the things he had willingly forsaken before.
