Thriller starring Toni Collette. When a lonely caretaker (Collette) who spends her life looking after her overbearing mother stumbles upon the brutalised body of a young woman (Brittany Murphy), her life is turned upside down. At the morgue, the sister of a girl who has been missing for 15 years believes the body is that of her sibling. Meanwhile, a woman (Mary Beth Hurt) in a troubled relationship is shocked to discover a connection between her husband (Nick Searcy) and Krista's murder. Finally, Melora (Marcia Gay Harden), a mother searching for answers about her runaway daughter Krista's disappearance, finds help in the form of another troubled young woman, Rosetta (Kerry Washington).
