Documentary about American stunt performer Robert 'Evel' Knievel, perhaps the best-known stunt artist of all time. A daredevil motorcyclist who once spent 29 days in a coma after an ambitious attempt to jump the fountain outside Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas in 1967, Knievel earned an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records as the survivor of 'most bones broken in a lifetime'. This film traces his life story from his misspent youth to his career heyday, during which he famously sported a red, white and blue Stars-and-Stripes 'number 1' set of motorcycle leathers and matching cape.
