Spanish drama directed by Bigas Luna. Unhappy with the direction her life is going in Spain, Diana (Elsa Pataky) leaves Madrid for California where she is determined to find money, fame and success. With the help of agents and producers she is rechristened Di Di and introduced to the glamorous side of Hollywood where she is given a taste of the celebrity lifestyle. But as she continues to be exploited on a day-to-day basis, will the price of the American Dream prove too costly for her?
