2005 saw the 119th . . . a continuous run broken only by the war years. Described as 'first class cricket on holiday' the Festival is noted for its unique and friendly atmosphere. In August 2005 - as well as the usual Yorkshire county championship and one day fixtures - the Festival included a charity match between a Lashings XI and an Old England XI.
