Action crime thriller based on a true story and starring Yehuda Levi, James Caan and Edward Furlong. Israeli Izek (Levi) attempts to escape the criminals who are using his family's business as an illegal casino by making a fresh start in Los Angeles. While there, Izek's life improves: he becomes a successful businessman and gets involved with the attractive Aline (Delphine Chanéac). But things take a turn for the worse when he comes up against gangster Micky (Caan), drug boss Hector (Steven Bauer) and his own thieving cousin Levi (Oded Fehr).

One man, Isaac, leaves his old, seedy, gangster-filled lifestyle to start over with his family. After he re-locates to Los Angeles, it isn't long before the world of crime that he tried to escape finds him. Threatened by a dangerously temperamental gangster, his criminal cousin and a drug lord, Issac finds getting a fresh start almost impossible. As those close to him fall victim to the promises of quick money by the way of the gun, violence surrounds him until he has no choice but to confront it.
