Korean historical war drama charting the development of a devastatingly effective weapons system. Determined to regain control of what it sees as a breakaway state, the aspiring Chinese Ming dynasty becomes increasing hostile in its dealings with the Joseon dynasty and its ruler, King Sejong (Sung-Ki Ahn). In an effort to maintain his state's independence, King Sejong secretly funds the development of the Phantom Arrowslinger, a revolutionary weapon that will change the balance of power in the region and help safeguard the imperiled state. Sejong's plans soon threaten to unravel, however, when Chinese spies discover the truth, setting in motion a deadly chain of events.
