Doctor Snuggles is a little, round, kindly inventor, a total optimist who is always looking for ways to make the world a better place. The Sensational Balloon Race: Dr Snuggles and friends enter a hair-raising balloon race. However, Willy the Terrible Fox and Charlie Rat are also determined to carry off the coveted prize and have tricks up their sleeve! Can the Doctor defeat them? The Unbelievable Wormmobile: A parakeet arrives and tells Dr Snuggles that every creature in Brazil has been turned into a butterfly. The Doctor decides to visit and, after crashing the rocket, journeys by Wormmoblie right through the centre of the Earth! The Magical Multi-Coloured Diamond: Dr Snuggles notices that the rainbow has turned pale and sets out to repair it. Woogie the Freckland Camel advises him to build a Diamond Making Machine. Meanwhile, Willy and the Terrible Fox and Charlie Rat are after the diamonds as well.
