Mozart wrote this opera ""Don Giovanni"" on behalf of the city of Prague and he himself also conducted the first night in October 29 1787. Another premier followed in the year 1791: the opera ""Titus"" conducted by Mozart as well.The Prague National Theatre (former ""Standetheater"") is therefore the only existing theatre in which Mozart himself conducted two premieres.
