Made-for-TV movie based on the popular American television drama that follows headstrong female doctor Michaela Quinn (Jane Seymour) as she helps the people of the Wild West town of Colorado Springs. While celebrating her birthday at a surprise party thrown by Sully (Joe Lando), Michaela is unaware that her daughter Katie (Kaile Zaretsky) has been kidnapped due to Sully's opposition to the plans for a copper mine in Colorado Springs. As they set out to track down the kidnappers, Michaela and Sully's search soons takes them on a perilous journey to Mexico's bandit country.
